After a mountain of hard work, 2011 proved to be a wonderful year for me. Not only was my second album, "Money to Burn," accepted on Pandora (that's right...you can now have a "Jackie Morris" station), but my third album, "Tell Me a Story" made it to TOP FOLK ALBUMS OF 2011" on the Folk Music Radio Airplay Charts. I am thrilled. I am also truly grateful to the ongoing support of so many friends and DJs. I was deeply touched and honored when two long-time DJs selected my new album as one of their "favorites" for 2011. Bill Hahn, producer/host of "Traditions," the longest-running folk show on WFDU (since 1980), chose "Tell Me a Story" as one of "The 10 albums I most appreciated this year." And Lilli Kuzma, producer/host of "Folk Festival," WDCB, chose it as one of her "additional favorites." Thank you sounds like such an understatement, but that really sums up the way I feel.
