For almost all of 2016, I was submerged in creating my new album, PERISCOPE HEART.  And now it's done and "out there," happily among Top Albums of May 2017 on the Folk Music Radio Airplay Charts.  I also got my first real-deal 5-star review from Paul Riley of the British magazine, Country Music People.  I was quite jazzed about that.

As some of you may know, I have been spending summers with my partner where he lives, in the south of France, and it's been quite a wonderful, magical...and interesting...experience.  So much so that it inspired me to write a song celebrating the French way of life.  It's called, "Bon Appetit."  This, in turn, led to my first real-deal music video last summer when my partner's son-in-law--French cinematographer, Lionel Brouet--came to visit us.  I really urge you to watch this fun video on my Videos page…

Well, a few really nice things have happened since I announced the release of "CAN'T FIX CRAZY." For one thing, it has been on the Roots Music Report's Top 50 Charts for a couple months now...with the title track reaching #7 on the Americana Country Song Chart. It also was among Top Albums of May 2014 on the Folk Music Radio Airplay Charts Then, I was really honored when Jon Stein asked me to be a featured artist on his Hootenanny Cafe Mini Concerts on Sunday, October 5th, at 9 p.m. (east coast time).…

My fourth album, CAN'T FIX CRAZY, will be released tomorrow, March 21st, at my CD Release Concert at the Camarillo Cafe. It will be available for sale there, of course, as well as on CDBaby.com in a day or two. (If it's not listed yet...it will be...SOON!) Hope you all enjoy it!

After a mountain of hard work, 2011 proved to be a wonderful year for me. Not only was my second album, "Money to Burn," accepted on Pandora (that's right...you can now have a "Jackie Morris" station), but my third album, "Tell Me a Story" made it to TOP FOLK ALBUMS OF 2011" on the Folk Music Radio Airplay Charts.
