"CRAZY" GOOD NEWS

Well, a few really nice things have happened since I announced the release of "CAN'T FIX CRAZY." For one thing, it has been on the Roots Music Report's Top 50 Charts for a couple months now...with the title track reaching #7 on the Americana Country Song Chart. It also was among Top Albums of May 2014 on the Folk Music Radio Airplay Charts. Then, I was really honored when Jon Stein asked me to be a featured artist on his Hootenanny Cafe Mini Concerts on Sunday, October 5th, at 9 p.m. (east coast time). If you're reading this before October 5th, you can tune in at 93.5 FM (in the NY-NJ-PA area) or streaming live online at www.wtbq.com. I'll be doing a mix from my last two albums. But what's really great is that - if you're reading this AFTER that date, or it's just not a convenient time for you - you can listen to my set at www.Talentconnections.com. (You can hear other very talented featured artists there, as well!) In addition, "Can't Fix Crazy" will soon be a pledge drive selection for Lilli Kuzma's "Folk Festival" show on 90.9 WDCB out of Chicago. And again, if you're not in the area, you can catch her show online (Tuesdays, 8-11 pm, Central Time) at www.WDCB.org. I'm so proud and pleased to be able to support her unique and engaging show. And finally, on Friday, October 3rd, I get to play at my hometown's Avocado Festival -- that's in Carpinteria, CA. I love that festival..and the song I'll be playing, "Our Town Said No," is about the town's triumph over Big Oil a few years ago, when Venoco wanted to drill for oil on the beach. This year, they're trying again....and we're campaigning for Proposition P. Of course...(life is never too easy)....I'll have just have returned home from France on Wednesday night, so it's a little crazy for me to do this. But there's no fixing that!
